Description
Based on the Czech feature film Smečka, set in the world of youth ice hockey, this young-adult story follows sixteen-year-old hockey player David, who has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and has just joined a new team in Zlín. Sport means everything to David, and despite his condition he works hard to improve. At the Vlci hockey club, however, teenage boys are raised according to the law of the strongest. The rule of the stronger dominates the entire group, and David quickly becomes an outsider. His new teammates intend to give him nothing for free, and what begin as seemingly harmless jokes grow in intensity and unleash a wave of bullying.
