Description
Tara is a talented Ukrainian dancer with a bright career ahead of her. She lacks neither passion nor perseverance. After Donetsk becomes a war zone, she must flee to the Czech Republic and make a living under inhumane conditions in a bleak environment as a laborer. Her salvation from this hell and her path to fulfilling her dream – dance – may come in the form of a small flyer offering a job as a bartender and dancer at a nearby bar. Here, Tara meets former great dancer Maria, once a winner of many world competitions, now the owner of a dance school, who recognizes her immense talent. And in Maria, the former champion with a difficult fate, long-forgotten ambitions to step back onto the world dance stage awaken – albeit now only in the role of a coach. However, the road to fame, and possibly love and happiness, is thorny and long, as Tara's past continually throws obstacles in her path, appearing at the most inconvenient moments. What actually happened years ago in Donetsk? And what other scars on her soul does Tara hide?
