The sixth volume of History Through the Back Door is here. And it contains all sorts of things. From the beauty, the Lombard queen Theodolinda from the turn of the 6th and 7th centuries, through the murders of the Přemyslids and the Arpads, to the first female Nobel Peace Prize laureate. We also bring some information about child alcoholism in Hungary at the beginning of the 20th century. The bean 'story' is also interesting, which talks about how they recently tried to solve the inadequate nutrition of infants in the third world in Czechoslovakia. And we offer the history of Bratislava/aloud. More than forty stories and fates filled with happiness and joy, but also sadness, wars, envy, hatred, and intrigues. Just as it was (and is) common in history (or today). We will also take a look at the reconstruction of Bratislava Castle, into the living conditions in interwar Trnava, or into the politics of the White House at the beginning of the Cold War. We conclude, instead of a conclusion, with pearls from the agricultural cooperative. One of them is this: The chairman calls the zootechnician: 'Our ox has died, should we buy a new one or wait for you?'
