Sigilla, arma, monetae: three Latin words that, with their sonorous impact and succinctness, evoke the motto of a noble coat of arms, while precisely expressing the three pillars of the scientific work of Moravian historian, particularly in the fields of sigillography, heraldry, and numismatics, with which both the professional and lay public have been familiar for several decades. We are talking about Professor Tomáš Krejčík, who celebrated a significant life anniversary this year. His friends, colleagues, and students decided to take this opportunity to compile a collection of studies to pay tribute to the honoree himself and his work. Among the authors are peers and long-term collaborators from universities, museums, and archives, as well as his students and the students of his students. A total of twenty-two contributions are divided into five thematic blocks, addressing sigillography, medieval heraldry, modern heraldry, vexillology and symbolism, numismatics, and finally noble genealogy, ennoblements, and social ascent.
