Directed Motion at the Syntax-Semantics Interface – Kudrnáčová Naděžda (2017)

The monograph contributes to the study of the relationships between the semantic and syntactic levels. It analyzes English verbs expressing motion in relation to their orientation (spatial focus) and shows the role that motion orientation plays at the semantic and syntactic levels. The analysis also includes the issue of causative structuring of motion events.
