Básnický rok – Poláček Jiří (2015)

The publication A Poetic Year is the first title in a new edition by the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University, which aims to publish popular or essayistic works of small scope reflecting the issues of individual subjects taught at the faculty. A Poetic Year contains, in addition to a prologue and epilogue, twelve chapters in which the author presents reflections on individual months in Czech poetry. Overall, it draws from the works of seventy poets and works with folk proverbs in the epilogue. The publication is supplemented with twelve full-page illustrations by Petr Veselý.
