Kritické reflexe literárního textu: S anděly i bez nich na sviňu svět – Prokeš Josef (2014)

The latest book by experienced author Josef Prokeš offers a second reading pleasure, as it inspiringly intertwines literature with literature about literature. The first part of the book contains ten chapters on literary theory for moderately advanced readers, while the second part offers a specific artistic text for personal assessment, namely Prokeš's short story collection 'Na sviňu svět' (2008). The concluding third part illustrates through various critical reflections how differently the presented textual material was perceived by individual reviewers. Their arguments interestingly illuminate the theoretical considerations of the introductory section, thus lighting up the lights on the other side of the metaphorical literary interpretative 'tunnel'. Doc. PhDr. Josef Prokeš, Ph.D. (1947) is a university educator, writer, theater dramaturge, and musician. He works at the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University in Brno. He is the author of nine scholarly publications, two works of fiction, three plays, three authorial CDs, and numerous short stories, reviews, and essays scattered across various magazines.
