Slovník českých jazykovědců v oboru bohemistiky a slavistiky – Večerka Radoslav (2013)

The book presents a collection of personal profiles of Czech linguists in the fields of Czech studies and Slavic studies, selectively including representatives from other fields who have contributed theoretically or practically to the understanding and enrichment of Czech or any of the Slavic languages. The personal profiles loosely follow the collective work titled Chapters from the History of Czech Linguistic Studies, published in 2007. Each entry begins with a brief biographical characterization but does not provide a bibliography of the respective creators; instead, it offers a general overview of the fields of their scientific activity and outlines the nature of their methodology. However, it includes references to bibliographic items about each of them. Selectively, it is supplemented by photographs of individual personalities.
