Berufstheater in Brünn 1668–1733 – Havlíčková Margita (2012)

The German-language monograph on professional theater in Brno during the Baroque period is based on original research of previously unreflected and never published archival sources stored in the collections of Brno archives. The examined topic shows numerous overlaps that, in their significance, place the local history of professional theater in Brno into the broader context of Baroque theater in Central Europe. The Czech edition of the book (2009) received enthusiastic reception in academic circles and superlative reviews in professional journals. The German version is being published after repeated requests from foreign experts.
