Description
In the next Supplement of the Dissertationes Archaeologicae Brunensis/Pragensesque series, we present contributions from doctoral students in the fields of anthropology, archaeology, ethnology, and geological sciences, which represent one of the outputs of the grant Moravian-Silesian School of Doctoral Studies II. All contributions were created as part of the authors' dissertation works and were presented at the regularly held doctoral seminar in Brno. The contributions address both theoretical questions and present results of material studies. Chronologically, the studies focus primarily on the periods of the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Hallstatt, early Middle Ages, Middle Ages, modern era, and the 19th century. The collection summarizes both humanities and natural science approaches to the study of movable and immovable monuments.
