Bohdan Lacina: 1912–1971 – Hlušička Jiří (2011)

A monograph on one of the most prominent figures in Czech visual culture of the 20th century. Bohdan Lacina, a Czech painter, graphic artist, and illustrator, was a professor of art history and visual education at Masaryk University. His work spans a wide range of artistic disciplines, is extensive in scope, and holds significant artistic value. The author of the monograph, Jiří Hlušička, is a recognized expert in Czech visual art. He has long studied Lacina's work and presents new insights into his creations in the monograph, gained through a long-standing friendship with the artist. The book is published to commemorate the 100th anniversary of B. Lacina's birth (February 15, 1912 – July 6, 1971).
