Description
Europeanization, or the transformation of the domestic political systems of the member states of the European Union under the 'pressure' of deepening integration, is undoubtedly the dominant form of internationalization in the Czech context. The publication 'Europeanization of Interests: Political Parties and Interest Groups in the Czech Republic' is a unique monograph in this regard, which unequivocally meets the need to analyze this transformation in the Czech environment. It is the first comprehensive and monographic treatment of the issue of the Europeanization of key actors in the political process in the Czech Republic. The empirical research on the Europeanization of interests has been placed by the authors within an appropriate theoretical and conceptual framework, as well as in a broader Central European context provided by the examination of political parties and interest groups in the Visegrad Group countries. The monograph is primarily intended for the professional readership, researchers of Europeanization at the academic level, and key actors in the practical Europeanization and internationalization of the Czech political system.
