Description
In the story of little Vítek Kříž and his brother Jáchym, we find ourselves in Běstviny, a place made for an ancient legend, in which a huge compost heap moves at the end of the castle garden. Deep underground, there is said to live a worm that needs to be fed – with joy, fear, guilt, and occasionally with something alive. Once grandfather leaves, one of the grandsons will have to take his place and take care of Běstviny. To prevent the legend from breaking, he will have to kill... But what if the characters rebel against their own storyteller and refuse to be part of his game? And how can one outsmart his omniscience, which rushes between the trees in the form of the wind and arrogantly flicks its tail? The children of the Běstviny story are now adults and return to the gardens to tell the last chapters in their own way.
