Petr a Lucie – Rolland Romain (2022)

A whole century has passed since the events of World War I, which form the backdrop of the most famous work of Romain Rolland, the Nobel Prize-winning author, the novella Peter and Lucy. In the masterfully depicted atmosphere of the city, nature, light and darkness, the roar of war and silence, a somewhat spoiled young man, who is going through a difficult period of adolescence, dreams his fragile dream of love, while a girl more knowledgeable about life knows how to love unconditionally. They feel more like real people with whom you breathe and lose your breath - and not just because their story could just as easily take place today.
