Description
This book explores the modern phenomenon of amateur archaeologists searching for traces of the Second World War in the Czech lands with metal detectors. Although the period in which these artefacts were created represents a sad part of history, it remains fascinating and compelling. The world of military relic hunters involves endless treks through challenging terrain, as well as wonderful moments when a finder is rewarded with a long-awaited discovery. The author draws readers into this world, introducing them to the hobby and sharing many of his own finds in engaging detail. The book also contains numerous photographs of the discoveries.
