The publication that is in the readers' hands is, with the exception of this preface, a translation and compilation of the original work processed and published by the Munich publishing house Grassinger in 1933. ***** The main reason for the release of this publication is the effort to provide contemporary Czech readers with an authentic experience of the propagandistic publishing activities of the National Socialist regime during the pre-war period. Therefore, the publisher has refrained from any interventions in the original text or in the visual materials, as well as any comments or value judgments that would otherwise certainly be appropriate in light of the historical experience with the Nazi regime. However, this publication can have historical and educational value precisely and only by preserving its original content. Of course, it is important to know the historical context from other works. The publisher reiterates that the original publication in 1933 served to promote the Nazi regime in Germany. At the same time, it can serve as a cautionary example of how people, in times of economic and existential problems, succumbed to seemingly simple political solutions and were willing to give up their rights and freedoms in favor of politicians who proclaimed that everything...
