So you have to settle for the bare facts. Born in Havířov, graduated from a technical school, a flight to Prague interrupted by half a year at an intelligence school in Brno, and starting his dream job as an operational officer of the Security Information Service of the Czech Republic (while having to finish his degree). If the term secret agent immediately came to your mind, you have quite romantic notions. Mirek Perner xxxxx and yet xxxxx..., before he resigned because he prioritized family. Now he leads an ordinary life and goes to an ordinary job. And he writes novels, which his wife Alžběta eagerly supports, and their three children less eagerly, who struggle with the fact that their dad no longer has such a cool job (but don't worry – he doesn't ask people at the checkout if they collect points...)
