That is precisely why it is necessary today to talk and write about weapons and everything surrounding them. This is also the fundamental purpose of this lexicon, which contains 333 individual entries in the field of weapon construction, their history, the terminology used, and legislative contexts. The lexicon not only presents technical parameters and terms but also richly illustrates the historical context of the emergence and role of individual weapons and their involvement in famous battles. We owe our respect, admiration, and sincere thanks to all the ancient weapon designers and gunsmiths. Likewise, we extend our gratitude to today's collectors for their care of historical weapons and their efforts to preserve these treasures for future generations.
