Dědictví intrik – Pospíšilová Ilona (2020)

The story mostly takes place in the picturesque and tranquil surroundings of the Na Kopečku guesthouse, nestled in the beautiful nature of Šumava. Daniel, a co-owner of a real estate company, arrives at this guesthouse. He wants to improve his management skills in the family business, so he will be attending a course in a nearby town for several days. Right at the reception, he meets Eliška, the granddaughter of the owner. Although they come from quite different backgrounds, they quickly find a connection, and their friendship begins to blossom into love. While sharing stories about themselves and their families, Eliška realizes that she actually knows nothing about her father, whom she never met, nor about her mother's death in a car accident. Her grandmother always responds vaguely or evasively to her questions. She confides her doubts to Daniel. He becomes enthusiastic about investigating Eliška's family's past and starts encouraging her in it. At first, he treats it as a game, but over time he discovers how much the past hurts fragile Eliška. He tries to be her support and protector, but neither of them knows what lies hidden behind the intricate labyrinth of lies and intrigues.
