Description
Following the success of the book 'Dying in Installments' (2018), the experienced author presents readers with three more dramatic stories, centered around the investigative crime reporter Jakub Kramář. Many hints are already suggested by the very titles of the chapters: 'Explosion in the House of Vice,' 'Premature Move of the Queen,' and 'Love Smelled of Death.' The connecting motif here, as it was last time, is Kramář's almost obsessive quest for objective truth. In this effort, he must overcome many traps, and in the first of the stories, he is directly drawn into the plot by the kidnapping of a woman who was in his vicinity.
