Description
The complex and bloody history of Russia since the late 19th century culminated in the Bolsheviks seizing power. They dominated Russia under the ideological leadership of V. I. Lenin with financial and diplomatic support from the German Empire, which then achieved its goal. By signing the infamous Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, Russia weakened the Allied powers, but the expected peace did not come... Even Czechoslovaks infected by Bolshevism did not escape troubles. This is shown by the fate of Vladimír Petras, sent by the Comintern to secure its controlling influence in organizing the Communist Party in Czechoslovakia, which was to participate in unleashing the Bolshevik revolution. Amid the revolutionary events in Russia, Czechoslovak legions were formed, whose combat journey ends with their arrival in the republic, which they significantly helped to establish.
