A mysterious story of a soldier and a lost girl, which was meant to remain unsolved. By a stroke of bad luck, twenty-year-old Eleni, a Czech with Greek roots who enjoys embellishing reality, stumbles upon it. With her innocent lie, she completely turns her life upside down – she interrupts her university studies for a job at a newspaper and sets off for her first story on the Greek island of Crete. On the day she is supposed to speak with veteran Billy Wyatt at the naval base of Souda Bay, she accidentally meets his younger brother Tony, through whom she finally discovers the beauty of Greece. At the same time, she realizes that something is off about her task and that she has become entangled in a strange game. She admits that she has gone astray and will savor wild Crete and the fairy-tale Santorini in all its glory, or will she pursue her story?
