Description
The publication is dedicated to artillery weapons used in Europe from 1867 to 1918, which served both for the defense of land and coastal fortifications and for their conquest. The most extensive part of the work is devoted to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and the contribution of Škoda Works in Plzeň to its armament. The descriptions of individual types of artillery include their technical and tactical parameters, as well as descriptions and technical data of a diverse range of armored constructions used in European fortification buildings. The entire work is accompanied by numerous drawings and period and contemporary photographs of the described artillery and armored elements.
