Description
Kateřina was named by her parents after the figure skating legend Katarina Witt and they 'predicted' correctly: even in Katka lies a piece of sporting talent. She falls in love with skating and becomes a star on the ice. However, after several failures and a shocking attack by a madman that nearly kills her, she decides at the age of twenty-five to hang up her skates. She bravely steps out of the star bubble she had lived in until then, comes to terms with reality, and seeks a new meaning in life, but realizes that she won't find it at parties and clubs. She meets Lukáš, falls in love, but her fear of people distances her from him rather than bringing them closer together. Kateřina tries to overcome her fears and leave the comfort of solitude – but will she find the strength to open her whole heart to him? Especially when Lukáš does something unexpected...
