Description
A young couple, Monika and Jiří, fulfill their dream of owning a home by buying an old villa on the outskirts of a picturesque village. However, after the initial excitement, problems arise. Jiří works during the week and only comes home on weekends, leaving the young mother feeling lonely. The villagers treat her with disdain; she has no one to share her joy about little Adélka with, nor to talk about her growing concerns for her mental health. Jiří notices the changes in his wife's behavior as well. He does not understand her moods. When one day he finds the baby unattended while his wife is sleeping soundly, he begins to worry about their daughter's safety. Why does Monika talk to herself? Why is she confused? Jiří's fears for her sanity grow even more when Monika starts befriending a strange little girl who wanders around their villa. Is it possible that the hard-to-explain mysteries are related to the deceased Judith, who lived in the villa years ago?
