THIS IS KONRAD HENLEIN - 200 images from the life of the Sudeten German unifier. By publishing this propagandistic pictorial publication, we aim to bring today's Czech reader/citizen closer not only to the sentiments of the German population in the border regions of the former Czechoslovak Republic, in the so-called Sudetenland, but also to the destructive role played by the Sudeten German Party (SdP) under the leadership of Konrad Henlein in Czechoslovakia as a fifth column of the Nazi regime of the Third Reich. Last but not least, we decided to publish this work also as a response to the efforts of some groups to marginalize the decisive contribution of Czech (so-called Sudeten) Germans to the disintegration and subsequent occupation of the former Czechoslovakia.
