Description
A war is taking place among the boys in the upper and lower parts of the village in Plzeň. While World War II is coming to an end, the boys' war continues. In 1945, the village is liberated by two armies. The lower part by the Soviet army and the upper part by the American army. The boys quickly become friends with soldiers from both armies. It doesn't take long for the younger members of both armies to help their friends win the boys' war. The demarcation line that runs through the middle of the village is responsible for a number of funny and more serious stories. They are narrated by an eleven-year-old chief of the boys' gang from Fidlačka, Vašek, known as Bimbas.
