This publication provides an overview of the valid commemorative and performance (class) badges of the former Czechoslovak Army and the Czechoslovak People's Army from 1922 to July 1992, when their validity ended after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. We will also encounter the badges of the Czech Republic, valid since 1993. Such detailed and comprehensive reporting on this topic is the first of its kind. It will serve collectors, especially beginners, to create a coherent overview of the history, origin, and development of military badges, the overall state of the items of their hobby, and thus gain deeper collecting knowledge. It will also help them to some extent distinguish possible forgeries and replicas of military badges.
