Description
In the Czech Republic, there are more than 40 botanical gardens and arboreta, which are becoming increasingly popular among visitors. They are no longer just for experts or scientists, but offer a rich program of popular science and year-round activities for the general public and schools. This publication presents most of the publicly accessible botanical gardens and arboreta. Readers will gain comprehensive information about plant collections in greenhouses and outdoor areas, opening hours and admission fees, regular events for the public and schools, and other useful data for a satisfying visit. Photographs complement the idea of what interesting sights are available here.
