The book presents the most extensive selection of Khlebnikov's poetry in Czech to date. The translators have translated (with exceptions, such as the palindromic poem) all of Khlebnikov's verses from this crucial period of the author's work. The intention was to introduce the incredible diversity of Khlebnikov's poetry to the Czech reader, which is far from limited to linguistic experiments and wordplay, but points to the author's extensive knowledge in very remote fields, such as ornithology or mathematics, and reveals Khlebnikov's rich inner universe and vast intellectual scope.
