Description
The twenty-sixth fascicle of the Biographical Dictionary of the Czech Lands presents biographies of figures whose names begin with Hom–Hoz. It forms part of an extensive encyclopaedic project created in cooperation with more than one hundred authors from academic, university and other institutions under the direction of the biographical team of the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The project is intended to cover approximately 25,000 biographies of people from all periods and fields of human activity connected with the Czech lands, regardless of ethnic origin, including those who were born, lived or worked there for only part of their lives.
