Description
The book is a reflection on the fates of two extraordinary inventions of humanity: the state and its law. It particularly includes reflections on some of the causes of the serious crisis in which the most perfected organization of human society finds itself, as well as a vision for future development. The book consists of three parts: On the State and Democracy, where the author contemplates the division and destruction of power in the Euro-Atlantic space; On Law and Reason, in which he presents his idea of the origin and development of law as the most important functionality of the state; and On the Future of the State and Law, which is based on a clear summary and ideas about the state of the fundamental pillars of a democratic rule of law, namely democratic forms of government, the concept of fundamental rights and freedoms, the rule of law, and the system of separation of powers.
