The book Digital_Humanities is not a traditionally conceived academic collection of essays or a co-authored monograph. As the authors state in the preface and afterword, Digital_Humanities is "the result of collaboration" on a "manuscript with a shared approach," to which "each of the authors contributed to writing, revising, transcribing, and final edits of the entire work." The model of this book thus has an "experimental nature." It aims to "create a unified, albeit choral, voice" and with this voice lead "a kind of metadialog: a dialogue that takes on the form of what it discusses." And since it discusses the interconnectedness between the humanities and computational research methods in the early 21st century, it takes on the form of interconnectedness.
