Nový pohled na kulturu - Logistika kultury – Pernica Petr (2017)

The book conveys new insights into the possibilities of influencing citizen participation in cultural activities to entrepreneurs in culture, management of cultural institutions, politicians, and professional workers in state, regional, and municipal administration who are involved in cultural development. From the positions of several scientific disciplines, it analyzes the development of the external formative framework and prerequisites for participation in cultural activities, addresses the availability, attractiveness, and accessibility of cultural goals, highlights the still underutilized application possibilities of logistics, and analyzes the relationships between attendance at cultural goals and population density, living standards, and tourism in the regions of the Czech Republic. The acquired insights are incorporated into scenarios of possible future developments and principles for managing culture and cultural institutions in practice are formulated from them. It explains the procedures for applying logistics in cultural institutions and organizing cultural events, contains an overview of suitable methods, and inspiring examples with rich photographic accompaniment.
