The Moravian Karst is our best-developed karst area with the largest number of surface and underground karst phenomena. At the same time, it is one of the exceptional regions of the Czech Republic with a rich history and culture. The picturesque landscape interwoven with deep canyons is a refuge for a wide range of animals and plants, and many endemics have been described here.
