Description
The book follows up on the previous volume Physics in Examples: Mechanics and is intended as a teaching aid for students and educators at universities, as well as for readers who wish to supplement their knowledge of physics. At the beginning of each chapter and subsection, definitions of physical quantities, basic physical laws, theorems, and equations related to the subject matter are summarized with a brief explanation. This is followed by solved and unsolved examples typical for the given area of the basic physics course at university, which can also serve as a tool for preparing students for exams. The examples provide guidance on the general approach to solving similar problems and on how to apply physical laws and theorems in solving the presented tasks. Unsolved examples with results are intended for the independent work of the students.
