Description
Since the second half of the 1990s, literature has been disseminated not only through printed and audiovisual media but also through the boundless and dynamically evolving space of the internet. New digital technologies have impacted both the process of creating literary texts and the process of their reception – and they have also changed the principles by which literature has previously functioned as a complex communication system. How does the process of creating and publishing a literary work differ between digital and printed texts? How has the position of the reader changed in the environment of interactive media? Is the relationship of Czech literature to new media in a supranational context in any way specific? And are these truly revolutionary changes, or merely variations of older literary forms transferred into a new environment?
