Description
The tireless words are a selection by the most prominent Czech Hungarist, internationally recognized professor Petr Rákos, who personally chose and organized them. The selection not only represents the most significant thematic areas of the author's life work and an overview of post-war Czech Hungaristics, but it is also a rare testament to how leading representatives of 'small fields' can inspire scientific thought to enrich methodological aspects in general. Rákos's studies and essays expose specific issues of the era in which they were created, without being beholden to it, even during the difficult times of the 1950s and later the 1970s and 1980s. The selection of texts, half of which were originally published in Hungarian, is complemented by a foreword from the book's editor, Evžen Gál.
