Description
In the summer of 1942, the Jewish Frank family is hiding from the national socialists in Amsterdam. Here, Anne Frank writes her world-famous diary, to which she confides all her observations, thoughts, and feelings as if it were her best friend. Isolated from the outside world, she describes her life in constant danger of being discovered and from bombings. Anna also talks about how confusing it is to be an adult and about nearly all the family quarrels. Until the end, she believes in her rescue. However, they are discovered. Her family is sent to a concentration camp, where Anna dies in the spring of 1945, shortly before the end of the war.
