In accordance with the CEFR for languages, it focuses on all four basic skills and sets communicative goals in each lesson. Students are encouraged to evaluate at the end of the lesson how well they have achieved these goals. Czech translations of vocabulary will be available in all parts both in lesson dictionaries and in the final alphabetical dictionary. The entire textbook intertwines the realities of German-speaking countries from the very beginning, and each lesson also includes a short text (Land und Leute), providing interesting facts from the German environment (in the first two parts also in Czech). Grammar always arises from the context, and students are guided to complete simply formulated rules themselves.
