This student’s book is a French-language course for older teenagers and adults at levels B1–B2, designed for specific purposes in the professional field of cooking and restaurant service. It is intended for learners who have reached level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, particularly through the En cuisine! A1–A2 course. The method meets the needs of French for specific purposes courses and those wishing to improve their French in a professional context or while seeking employment in the restaurant sector in a French-speaking environment. It continuously connects language learning with professional practices in kitchen and table-service occupations. A video workshop illustrates the culture and civilisation pages, while an illustrated glossary supports the acquisition of specialised restaurant vocabulary. The book also includes preparation for professional examinations. With this course, learners work towards B1–B2 CEFR level and develop language skills closely related to their professional sector.
