Description
In 1936, Japanese reporter Sohei Tohge is covering the Berlin Olympic Games when his younger brother Isao, studying in Germany, calls to arrange a meeting and share something important. At Berlin University, Sohei discovers that Isao’s room has been violently searched, a mysterious message has been left behind, and Isao’s dead body lies below the open window. Isao has been murdered. As Sohei investigates, every trace of his brother’s life and studies in Germany disappears. His room is cleared, the building manager denies knowing him, and the police offer no help. The murder is eventually linked to a document Isao sent to Japan containing information about Adolf Hitler. As the investigation unfolds, the lives of three men named Adolf, each from a different background, become increasingly intertwined while Sohei searches for his brother’s killer.
