Description
When the body of a nineteen-year-old girl is found on the main street of Siglufjoerdur, Police Inspector Ari Thor battles a violent Icelandic storm while hunting for her killer. Easter is approaching, tourists are arriving at the northernmost town in Iceland, and Ari Thor is preparing for a family reunion with his girlfriend and their three-year-old son, who live in Sweden. Three days before Easter, a local girl falls to her death from the balcony of a house. A puzzling diary entry suggests that it may not have been an accident, while an old man in a nursing home repeatedly writes “She was murdered” on his wall. As extreme weather cuts off power and access to the town, Ari Thor must piece together the clues and uncover a terrible truth.
