Description
After Japan’s disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, the country’s football team struggles to regroup. The Football Association believes what is missing is an absolute ace striker who hungers for goals and victory and can turn around a losing match. To find one, a mad young coach gathers 300 of Japan’s best young players in a high-tech colosseum called Blue Lock, where they compete in a series of bizarre challenges. In this battle to become Japan’s top striker, who will emerge as the team’s leader, and can they overcome everyone who stands in their way? An anime adaptation is forthcoming.
