We All Live Here – Moyesová Jojo (2026)

Lila Kennedy wrote a bestseller about keeping a marriage alive before discovering that her ex-husband was playing happy families with another woman, whom she sees every day at school pick-up. Her stepfather Bill moved in after her mother died; he is kind, old-fashioned and driving Lila mad. Her eldest daughter Celie hates school so much that she has stopped attending, and Lila is fine with it because she does not know yet. Nine-year-old Violet sings inappropriate rap songs, laughs at fart jokes and is someone Lila hopes will never change. Then there is Truant, the family dog, who has just bitten the American actor who suddenly appears on the Kennedys’ doorstep. The man is Gene, Lila’s estranged father, who abandoned her and her mother years ago and brings domestic discord wherever he goes. His presence changes everything in unexpected ways. The girls soon discover a kindred spirit in a man who is always chasing life’s joy, Bill begins to loosen up, and Lila astonishingly finds herself dating. Something is happening to the Kennedy household, but will it break the family or save it?
