Description
A year after Penny first entered DallerGut Dream Department Store, she has become an official employee of the dream industry. She can now take the express commuter train to the Company District, where the dream production companies are located, to discover how raw dream materials and testing equipment are made. The district, however, reveals the darker side of the magical industry Penny thought she belonged to. She finds the Civil Complaint Center, where people file complaints about their dreams, and learns about regular customers who have stopped visiting the store. As she investigates their complaints, Penny broadens her horizons, moving beyond simply selling dreams to understanding what lies in the hearts of those who have been lost. This second part of the DallerGut Dream Department Store story explores the dream industry and its customers, asking why some people buy a dream and never return, and whether Penny and her colleagues can bring them back.
