Happy Street is a successful series of textbooks for children who are already able to start reading and writing in English. In the Happy Street textbooks, children delve into the world of characters known from Happy House in a broader context and also get to know neighbor Greg and his dog Flossy. The workbook includes: one page of exercises for each page from the textbook, pages with interdisciplinary connections utilizing knowledge and skills from other subjects in the English language, and pages with stories 'Colin in Computerland', where children apply their acquired language knowledge and reinforce their speaking skills, pages titled from reading to writing, which give children the opportunity to use the language to express themselves, Quizzy's questions that help children become aware of their own progress in learning and also serve as a means for children to record new material, eight pages of exercises focused on preparing students for comparative tests in the 5th grade, an English-Czech glossary, an audio CD with all the songs and stories from Happy Street 2.
