New Horizons is a four-level upper-secondary course that sets achievable goals and builds students’ confidence. It offers completely new content, updated examination training for the B1 school-leaving examination, engaging topics and essential vocabulary for teenagers, while practical grammar exercises develop confidence in communication. Brand-new features, enjoyable activities and fully rewritten texts and exercises support learning, while the clear structure and moderate pace suit classes with fewer weekly contact hours or mixed-ability groups. Dual entry points at levels 1 and 2 allow students to work towards the B1 examination at their own pace, and systematic examination training in levels 3 and 4 prepares them for the different requirements of their school-leaving examinations. Language reviews at the end of every two units recycle and revise the language as the course progresses.
