Description
The School Act - The major amendment to the School Act brings a package of changes for primary and secondary schools. Changes will occur in the financing of non-teaching staff, which municipalities will now have to cover from their own budgets. The amendment also addresses the following issues: merging small schools; social and special educators and psychologists; more money for schools in need; the return of online teaching; 'small bachelor's degrees' and certificates instead of high school diplomas; and greater influence of children on the operation of schools.
