Description
The main character of the series adaptation of Neil Gaiman's novel, Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle), returns home after years spent behind bars. The night before his release, his wife Laura (Emily Browning) dies. Her lover, who is also Moon's friend, dies in a car accident. From that night on, Shadow becomes the personal bodyguard and travel companion of the charismatic oddball, Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane). He appears as a con artist, but in reality, he is one of the old gods. Thus begins an unimaginable journey across America with the task of gathering allies and preparing for war against the new gods. These are the phenomena of today's society: the love of money, modern technology, media, celebrities, and drugs.
